Woo, slightly nervous about this post as its my first ‘fashion’ post. Until now, the ‘fashion’ menu on this blog has been empty.
I am a huge fan of fashion and spend probably far too much time either actually shopping or thinking about shopping and if I’m not pining interiors then I’m adding to my favourite board on Pinterest ‘My style.’
I wasn’t sure whether fashion will be a big feature on this blog mostly because I HATE pictures of myself and the fact that I’m a semi-professional camera dodger. I have a unique ability to move and move fast whenever there is a camera about. Ironic really because one of my favourite things to photograph is people!
I am in LOVE with the floral prints that are in the shops at the moment. The chintzy, flowery loveliness that’s brightening up shopping malls everywhere. So, I dragged my friend out to the beautiful Basildon Park where Louis gets a lot of walks to snap some of my favourite pieces, I had hoped that I would get a beautiful sunny spring day but in true English style, it ended up absolutely chucking it down. But needs must and in between the rain we managed to get a few pics. Only two outfits made the final cut because I got drenched but I have included some more of my faves at the bottom with links.
So, excuse the dodgy ‘undone’ hair that fluffs up like Monica’s from Friends the second there’s moisture in the air and I hope you enjoy.
P.S. some of my favourite elements of these pics (other than the beautiful dresses) are actually the wooden panelling around the windows and the old brick walls – I’m a true interiors addict at heart…
